Farewells

My Sweet Kitty has been lying on top/inside my suitcase all week long. She knew what day was coming..and if she had any say in it, I think she'd be my stowaway ;)

<== Yanagi's sushi for lunch, and Yogurt Creations for dessert...MmMmM good.

Del's Italian food for dinner with the fam and
G-parents. Yummy Ice cream cake to celebrate my upcoming bday and Grandpa's as well. :) Good stuff. Luke especially liked the cake.

I'll miss my wonderful family. We've been through so much together, and have had an abundance of shared memories which I shall always hold dear to my heart. I love you all! But this is no goodbye...just a farewell for now. :) Ending this day, Dad pointed out this Intense ring around the moon that I had to at least attempt to capture. Above is my best result. It was one of those images that took my breath away and I said aloud "God is so good" Amen. Looking forward to the adventures in my near and far future. Thanks to all for the prayers and support...and farewell for now!

Santa Maria Down Under-River bed

This was my first ever time to go underneath the Santa Maria bridge. I wanted something epic for my last shoot in SM, something different, something I'd remember for days to come. Though I did not have my partner in crime/fav photo shooting buddy with me this time, I enjoyed uncovering the secrets below the bridge with some old high school classmates. These are just a random assortment of shots/secrets I captured and would like to share.

Farewell (for now)

The beautiful dinner my dearest pal Chelsea prepared for me Wed night.

You'll always be in my heart, whether I be near or far.

I'm so blessed to have you in my life! xo

**Hume Lake Winter Camp 2010**

With some inevitable jitters about my upcoming big move, I really needed a weekend up at Hume to just get away and clear my thoughts. I am SO blessed to have this opportunity for the second time in two years. If you have ever been to this heaven of a place, you know how incredible it is. For some, it can be life changing...for others, just a fun, exciting place to escape from the 'real world' for a weekend.

I don't think anyone can get enough of this place...seriously! We experienced some snow fall Saturday and Sunday, and let me tell you- those were some of the BIGGEST snowflakes I've ever encountered! Oh my! Such a beautiful scene to witness after being dismissed from chapel Saturday night-commitment night. After seeing many of God's children come to the alter and make a commitment, I was already feeling overwhelmed with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 19:14
"Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Thanks to God and all that made this weekend at Hume a life changing, memorable time for many! I pray that I'll get to come back again some day.
